I adore the color scheme of this room. The batik and open frame are nice, decorative touches, along with the twigs and hardwood floor. The room is relaxed and earthy to me.
The batik was purchased in Bangkok at an open market, but the owner's not sure of it's origin.
Does anyone recognize this batik? It could be Thai, though I know Japan uses indigo/white in their batik, but not this type of pattern. Some regions in Sulawesi use a pattern a little bit similar to this, but this one seems more ethnic to me...
