Though it is suppose to rain most of my trip, due to the Monsoon season, I woke up to a beautiful morning. We rode the bike to a friend's house in Denpasar.
I ate some traditional Makassar food: a dish with sticky rice, coconut and fish strips...it was WONDERFUL and I drank some Tehbotol...I didn't realize how much I had missed the taste of that tea until I came back this trip.
The boys want me to go to Makassar with them to see where they are from and to taste the traditional Makassar food there since I love it so much, who am I kidding...I love all food!
Afterwards we tried to go to Coto Makassar but it was closed so we opted for Pluengkung’s for dinner. We, being the good eaters we are, stuffed ourselves full with spicy fish, rice, hot vegetables and BBQ squid...yummy!
